Belarus and Nepal agreed to cooperate in transport

 

 Belarus and Nepal have agreed to expand their cooperation in the field of transportation, following a meeting between First Deputy Transport and Communications Minister Valery Verenich and Ambassador of Nepal to Russia Milan Raj Tuladhar in February, 16  2024

This was the first high-level meeting with representatives of Nepal in the history of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.

The two sides discussed the prospects of collaboration in training Nepalese students in Belarusian universities, as well as the possibility of exchanging experts and best practices in road construction, railway and air transportation. They also expressed interest in establishing direct flights between the two countries and facilitating visa procedures for travelers.

The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the mutual respect and goodwill between Belarus and Nepal. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and explore new areas of partnership in the transportation sector, as well as other fields of mutual interest.
