More than 43.5 thousand EU citizens have entered Belarus visa-free since the beginning of 2024


Since the beginning of 2024, over 43.5 thousand residents of the European Union have visited Belarus without visas. he State Border Committee reports

Of the 43735 foreigners from the European Union, who used the visa-free regime to enter Belarus, 25072 are citizens of Lithuania, 8622 citizens and 2091 non-citizens of Latvia, another 7950 foreigners have a Polish passport.

A total of 844341 foreigners have travelled to Belarus since the beginning of the visa-free regime. Among them 520283 citizens of Lithuania, 193423 citizens and 58206 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 72429 citizens of Poland

  1. I have no idea what is the reason for EU citizens to cross Belarusian border? Is it because of cheap gasoline?
