In the future, Belarus plans to establish air communication with Seychelles and Kenya. "Negotiations are underway. There are draft documents and intergovernmental agreements on air communication. They are currently being harmonised. This year we plan to sign an agreement on air communication with Venezuela," he said.
As for the regional airports, Gennady Kostiuk recalled that last October, flights from Homel to Moscow were resumed. "They flew with a frequency of three times a week. Now, due to the demand, the frequency of flights has been increased to five times a week. There are already plans to open a flight Gomel - St. Petersburg. Also this year it is planned to open a flight Brest - Moscow. This is what concerns the flights. The charter programme has already been opened from Gomel and Vitebsk to Egypt. Another charter programme from Gomel, Vitebsk and Brest to Turkey is planned to be opened this year," he said
