Berlin-style doners in coffee house: is it possible?

Doners in Berlin-style started spinning in a new format of coffee house with kebabs "Moby Dick Kebab".  Popular food blogger KokoBy talks about new format for fast food in Minsk

Yesterday there was a major break of templates - the first in Minsk specialty coffee shop opened, where instead of the usual sausage and cheese it serves from 10:00 kebabs for breakfasts , Berliner durum and falafel in sauces according to their own recipes. I have no idea who or what  prompted the owners of Moby Dick's to crossbreed a coffee shop with a shawarma shop, but the spit is already standing.

The renovation of the premises at 11 Kirov Street took an excruciatingly long time, and everyone put their chips on another coffee shop with breakfasts, but it was not to be.

Atmosphere

Nothing supernatural, rudimentary renovations, a couple of handmade paintings, a mosaic with a woman resting and an open kitchen with an open spit. Typical streetfood that lacks a woman's touch.

Quite possibly will eventually settle in with other decor.

Durum or Doner

The menu starts at the entrance, like a market. I see doner, flatbreads, hummus, lentil soup, stir-fry and some kind of oriental bowls. No emotion.

Test opening, alcohol is not friendly at all, special Lebanese pita was not brought in time for the opening, I had to hang on the terrace for about 40 minutes for sea buckthorn lemonade at 7 BYN.

1. Ordered a table of everything for three people for 69 BYN, first twisted into a flat 20cm stick of Doner Lebanese for 12 BYN.

Dense pita in one layer well baked, creamy garlic sauce on top, inside not the juiciest chicken, hopefully off the spit, fries, pickle and little sauce. It's good, but it's like Sahara.

2. The second one in the basket arrived with a flatbread in the Berlin style for 13 BYN the size of half a gymnastic ball.Topped with baked eggplant, carrots, zucchini, onion jam and chicken under three sauces.

I'm not sure if it's all supposed to be barely warm, but I'm pretty sure it would taste better hot. It's awkward to eat, I take a plastic fork.

MINUSES: disposable spoons and forks, ugly dishes.

Here's the trick: the green sauce is like Chimichurri - fresh, spicy, basil-like. The second is thick sesame, slightly sweet.

3. Durum kebab for 12 BYN, like the first, only with all sauces: juicy, spicy, impossible to stop biting it. A bid for 9 kokobays!

Reminds me of the miracle kebab from "Kebab Faktori", which will soon be in Minsk.

4. Their bowls are the same kebabs, where instead of pita bread cooked quinoa.

5. The falafel in the bowls is like the best Israeli street food places: soft texture, crispy crust. The hummus is just as awesome.

I see they didn't include the bowls and hummus in the check, looks like a bonus.

Big cheese fries for 10 BYN and tender onion rings for good.

In brief and to the point: just stepped out of the threshold, as immediately covered with the desire to return for kebab durum. Not like every other shawarma shop around town, I'm vanguishing for a month of kebab durum trials at the coffee shop.
